Utah Air Show 2014

When I lived in California as a young girl I remember watching the Blue Angels fly and loved them.  Today I decided to drag my family to Hill Air Force Base to watch the Thunderbirds, and it was well worth it!  We might become regulars.

4 Down 7 to Go

Since only 3 of our kids were here for week three it was a bit more relaxing than the previous two.  Ben tells me that I need to slow down, that we do too much, but I find that if I don't keep busy there are a lot more messes and fights between the kids.  So week 4 was another crazy fun week...

Down to One Booster Seat! (and a car seat)

Tiago turned 8 so we got to take another booster seat out of the car.  The kids are loving the extra space!  Since Tiago's birthday was on Sunday it was pretty low key, but we hope he loved his "Master Chief" ice cream cake and all his fun presents.

I Did It!

I've been serving in the YW for the past two years working on personal progress here and there, but about 7 months ago I decided to kick it into high gear and get it done before I got released or we moved.  It was fun working on value experiences and doing projects.  Most of the goals were fairly easy to accomplish because I do a lot of it every day.  I'm really glad I decided to put forth the effort, it was well worth it.  I received my medallion yesterday, YAY!

It Was Inevitable

When you have a dad as great as mine you're destined to be asked to speak in church on Father's Day and sure enough, I had my chance yesterday.  I spent 15 minutes bragging about all the things my dad has taught me throughout my life.  He's a great example of charity...he has loved and served his family selflessly.  Love ya dad!

I'm also lucky to have Ben as the father/step father of my children.  He is so much fun, super loving, a wonderful example of service, and totally hott. Thank you for loving Alyssa and Holly as if they were your own, and for giving me Qyntn.  Love this man with all my heart!

Where in the World is Ben Now?

Columbus, Ohio, but last week Ben visited the country of my mission, Argentina.  He said Buenos Aires was lovely...

Hanging with San Martin

Plaza Hotel...looks like a nice place to stay

Then he headed over to Santiago, Chile for the second time...

Sometimes I get a little jealous that he gets to travel and experience so many different cultures, but I don't envy the long flights.
