The Joke Was On Us!

So, this year for April Fools I thought it would be hilarious to lock Alyssa in her room by tying my Thera-band between her door handle and the closet. 

But at 3am, when we heard Alyssa screaming that she couldn't get out of her room and that she had a bloody nose, the joke was on us.  What?? of all nights to get a bloody nose.  It's not like she has them very often either.  The extra time it took to get her out of her room and to the bathroom proved to increase the bloody mess.  Talk about an April Fool's backfire.   

But that didn't deter us from doing something to Holly.  We buried her in all of her stuffed animals and then I drew on her face.  Hehehe

My personal favorite joke of the day was the mayonnaise filled chocolate glazed donuts that I offered up as their after school snack.  Take a nice big bite girls!!!
