DOXA

Today we got to help out with the DOXA Threelay for the 3rd year.  It was fun to hang out at the Wolf Creek Campground  with Ben and Reyn and cheer on the athletes all day.  Hopefully we will get to do it again next year.  

Kings of the Hill!

My dad was able to get us some Cherry Hill "King of the Hill" passes.  We had a blast!  Thanks dad!

 

Friends

Last night we went to the Real Salt Lake soccer game/ dinner/ pre-game carnival and fireworks.  Our friend Marcus invited us and gave us the tickets.  He had invited several families from our old neighborhood and we all sat together.  As I sat among them I felt richly blessed.  We truly made some wonderful friends in that neighborhood.  Ben and I made it on the fancam too, which was an added bonus.

Farewell Zach and Braden

2 of my nephews have chosen to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Zach and Braden both had their mission farewell today.  Ben and I got to sing in a quartet at Zach's.  I am extremely grateful for the example they are setting for my kids.  Good luck Zach in Indiana and Braden in New York.  We will be praying for you and know that the Savior will be on your right hand and on your left and his angels round about you to bear you up!

Killin Time

Once we disembarked the Carnival Magic we had about 10 hours before our flight home.  We decided to swing by Gatorland to kill some time.  We fed the gators, wrestled a gator, and ate gator.

Grand Turk 007 Style

Our final stop was Grand Turk where we snorkeled James Bond style.  I won't ever want to regular snorkel again.  The clear water and beach were exquisite. Perfect water temperature, perfect day!

It's Fun to Play Dress Up

27 Charcos

The reason we picked this particular cruise was because one of the ports of call was Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic where we could visit the 27 charcos.  It did not disappoint, Ben was loving every minute!  We spent several hours jumping off and sliding down waterfalls in the Damajagua river.

4th of July at Sea

No fireworks or parades for us this year, but we rocked the freedom party on the lido deck and dined in elegance.  Isn't Ben so dreamy!?!

Bahamas

Our first stop was Nassau in the Bahamas. We toured the island in style and spent some time at Junkanoo beach (not my favorite beach.)
