Jr. Jazz Coach of the Year!

The Jr. Jazz program covers 7 states, includes 60,000 atheletes, and more than 6,000 coaches.  Of all of those coaches, Ben was selected as the Jr. Jazz coach of the year and was recognized tonight at the sportsmanship party.

He is now the Jazz' nominee for Jr. NBA coach of the year.  If he wins, he will get to attend the NBA awards show in July.  Crossing our fingers!

Growing older is tough.  Along with the crows feet and thinning hair comes the exhaustion and aches and pains.  This year my one desire for my birthday was to be able to sleep in.  I told the kids that if they would be quiet and let me sleep they could stay home from school.  The kids did great but my bladder had another plan.  Yes, I woke up to pee as usual in the 6am hour and couldn't get back to sleep, bummer. 

Ben and the kids showered me with love and gifts again this year.    

Club Volleyball

Wow!

Holly is simply amazing!  Last week was the Utah Short-Course State Swim Championships.  She qualified for 6 individual events and swam in one relay.  During the prelims she qualified for the finals in all of her events.  She scored 53 of her teams 183 points.  Can you say MVP???

She won the B final for the 50 & 100 breast

and she has the 10th fastest
 50 free for her age group in the state
