He also said that as he has watched the renovation of the Salt Lake City Temple, he has seen workers pull out old tree roots, plumbing, wiring and a leaky fountain, “I have thought about the need for each of us to remove, with the Savior’s help, the old debris in our lives.”
Debris can be anything unholy or impure in our lives that keeps us from being worthy to have the spirit with us. Because of the atonement of Jesus Christ, we can remove the debris through repentance. The prophet invited us to pray to know what debris we need to remove from our lives.
