Club 801 Nationals team

This year Alyssa made a nationals team for Club 801.  She was so excited!  She has traveled to Arizona and Colorado for tournaments and will go to Florida in June.  Her coach Kuulei was just offered the head coaching position for Westlake High School.  We're hoping that will give her an advantage for her senior year volleyball season.  They aren't winning much, but she's having a lot of fun.

Champions!!!

Qyntn's basketball team went undefeated in the Bantam league this year.  The team they played for the championship was also undefeated.  It was a little intimidating when we realized that the owner of the Utah Jazz had a son on the other team.  That didn't stop our boys though, they battled and came out with the win.  Wasn't even close, won by more than 20.  These boys are the best!  They play hard, they play as a team, and they play with good sportsmanship.  I'm so proud.  Their coach is pretty great too!

Heartbreak

We lost a friend today, this one hit us hard.  Landon was on Qyntn's flag football team for 5 seasons, Ben was his coach.  

Hoop Camp Mérida

Ben headed down to Mérida, Mexico for another week of Hoop Camp.  This time, Lifetime products donated some basketball hoops.  We may be forming a good partnership with them.  I have an in, my friend, Brett, is one of the VPs.

All-Star Weekend

The NBA All-Star weekend was held in Salt Lake City for the first time in 30 years.  Ben took the boys to the practice game, what a cool experience.
