Declutter Challenge

 I've decided to take the declutter challenge. It's been kind of therapeutic.

Big Week for Q!

Qyntn received the aaronic priesthood and was ordained to the office of deacon.  As soon as he got his temple recommend, we took him to do proxy baptisms at the Saratoga Springs temple with the other "Stripling Athletes."  He also passed the sacrament for the first time.  He was nervous, but is already a pro.  

the "Stripling Athletes" are boys from Q's football and 
basketball teams who will be going together to the temple monthly.

2023

2023 was not my best year.  We'll just say that I took the year off.  I quit my job, I stopped exercising consistently, I gave up the fight against video games,  I asked to be released from my calling (I've never done that before). I slept a lot.  I stopped cooking dinner very often .  I went to the store as seldom as possible and avoided people as much as possible.  I think maybe it's time for some therapy.

The last week of the year was pretty mellow, but there were a few highlights...

Qyntn saved up and bought himself a gaming computer.  
He has his own little setup in the basement.

These 3 spent some fun time together at Huhot,
then saw The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the new Hunger Games movie. 

New Years Eve, Eve, we had some of Q's friends over for the evening.

On New Year's Eve we played games and 
watched a couple of movies.

The kids gave Ben and I these awesome images for Christmas.  They planned the whole thing themselves and it looks like they had a fun time at the photoshoot.  Well played kids!
