Outdoor Adventure

Reyn's wanted to go to PV for her senior trip.  So she brought her friend, Chloe and we went on an exhilarating adventure.  We took a speed boat from Nayarit to Boca de Tomatlan, then boarded the "Barbie" adventure truck and took a bumpy ride through the jungle to the a adventure park.  Once we arrived, we rode mules higher up the mountain and then descended through the jungle in the rain on ziplines.  We rapelled a waterfall, rode a zip coaster and went on some crazy waterslides.  It was an adventure we will never forget.    After the adventure park, we changed into dry clothes to warm up, but it was pointless,.  We got completely soaked in a downpour on the bumpy, speedy boat ride back but we laughed all the way.  Good times!

The photographer was charging $259 to buy the photos he took, so I just AI generated some...

Riding mules to the top

Rapelling the waterfall made me want to puke.  When I was younger, I had a scary fall while rapellimg a cliff like this.  I forced myself to do this one, but it didn't go much better this time.

Getting splashed in the face the entire waterslide

The rollercoaster zipline was insane

The splash down at the end of the coaster was intense.  I may have cracked a rib.

The freefall by the waterfall
was probably my favorite.

Ziplining upside down was fun

And ziplining on a small surfboard was different.

The final ride was this 850 ft. Waterslide.  They made us wear elbow pads and a hockey mask.

This is Happening

Over the past few weeks, we have been decluttering our house and selling almost everything.  Our new home will be much smaller, so we started selling the extra bedroom sets, ping pong table, our old kitchen table with chairs and we will be selling couches and chairs.

To help get rid of stuff, we decided to have a garage/yard sale.  It was a ton of work getting things ready, and of course, it rained almost the entire day of the yard sale.  We didn't have a great turnout, so we decided to do it again the next Saturday.  We got a few more visitors but by the end of the day, we were basically just giving everything away.  We wanted to limit the number of trips we would have to make to the DI.  We have some neighbors down the street that foster 17 kids.  They all came over and took what they wanted.  They were very grateful, and we were thrilled too.

I really don't ever want to do another garage sale in my life, but it feels good to have a decluttered home.
