Finishing the basement

I'm excited!  Ben got paid up from one of the companies he works for (hallelujah!) so we have decided to use the money to finish  our basement.  I can hardly wait for it all to be finished.

Working Gurl

Q started first grade this year which means all day school for him and extra free time for me.  I thought maybe I'd just use that time to sleep all day, but instead I work with Randy (my BIL) for NWLS.  Yep, back in sales.  It's not so bad actually.  I buy and sell old lab equipment (that I know nothing about), work from home and choose my hours.  It's not a bad part-time gig.

Family Photo Shoot

This year for our family pictures I wanted to capture the beauty that surrounds us every day.  The  views from our home are stunning and the sunrises and sunsets are magnificent. These images were all taken within 2 blocks of our home at sunset.  We are certainly blessed!

Unfortunately, Qyntn lost his FRONT tooth in a football game 6 days before these were taken and there is someone in every picture who seems to jack it up!  But to me they are still beautiful!

Recruiting Trip

With graduation just around the corner, Ayzha is trying to figure out what to do with her life.  She would like to keep playing volleyball, so Ben set up a recruiting trip over fall break at Big Bend Jr. College in Moses Lake, Washington.

Ben and Ayzha both seemed to like
the coaches and team.  Half of the girls
are member of the church, which is a positive to me.
Plus a temple was announced for Moses Lake.
Ayzha would get to experience some diversity but also have
a singles ward and institute to attend.

Q went with them and swam as often as he could.

Fall Break

While Ben took Ayzha and Q to Washington, I stayed home and had some fun with Alyssa and Holly.   Tiago and Reyn were in Cali with their mom.

We used our Getout passes!
and did some "Hands on Art."
