Halloween

When I was little Halloween was a one day event.  We would dress up for school and trick or treat that night.  It seems that Halloween has turned into a month long celebration with pumpkin patches, corn mazes, trunk or treats, pumpkin carving, haunted houses, pumpkin walks, and this year we even had a glow in the dark eggstravaganza.  Glad the kids will be grown soon.  I don't know if I can handle too many more months like this!

After 31 hours of travel, touching down briefly in Tokyo, Ben finally arrived at his destination in Singapore.  This was the text he sent me shortly after he arrived...

We waited in line for a long time to get these balloons.  Holly's is an eyeball hat, Q's is a monkey, and Alyssa's is a spider.  Why do kids love this kind of stuff so much?
